Kiáll a mérsékelt és kultúrált alkoholfogyasztás mellett, megfelelő irányba változtatja meg a minőségi italfogyasztás fogyasztói szokásait.
Az egyesület feladata továbbá a pálinkafőző vállalkozások hírnevének öregbítése, pálinkák történelmi hagyományainak ápolása, a pálinka ismertségének növelése, a pálinka, mint életérzés népszerűsítése.
