Madarason és környékén az emberek mezőgazdaságból éltek, a mindennapokhoz hozzátartozott a pálinka fogyasztása is. Ezt látva Balla Péter úr 1943-ban megépítette pálinkafőzdéjét. Államosítás után földműves-szövetkezeti, majd ÁFÉSZ tulajdonba került, ahol évente 40-50 ezer liter pálinkát állítottak elő.
A pálinkafőzde vezetője 1960-tól 1989-ig apám, idősebb Lakatos Márton volt.
1989-ben megvásárolta a pálinkafőzdét
és magán pálinkafőzdeként üzemeltette tovább, ahol 1991-től mint főállású segítő családtag tevékenykedtem. 1997-ben került tulajdonomba az üzem, ahol 1998-tól egyéni vállalkozóként dolgozom.
A Lakatos család immár ötven éve
főzi hagyományos módon, kétszeres lepárlással a kisüsti pálinkát. Jelenleg 2 darab 400 literes főzőüstben történik a főzés.
Pálinkáimmal országos versenyeken az elmúlt két évben az alábbi eredményeket értem el:
- 2 champion díj
- 7 aranyérem
- 9 ezüstérem
- 8 bronzérem.
2008-ban a IX. Nemzetközi Pálinka és Párlatversenyen a legeredményesebb bérfőző címet nyertem el, illetve a Gyümölcspálinka Főzők Országos Szövetségének különdíját.
2009-ben Kisüsti Pálinkafőzők Országos Szövetségének különdíját kaptam.
A hosszú szakmai tapasztalat
és a pálinka iránti kereslet késztetett arra, hogy az eddigi bérfőzést kibővítve kereskedelmi pálinkafőzésbe is kezdjünk 2008. közepétől. Fél kilogramm magyar gyümölcs íze, aromája és illata megtalálható egy kupica pálinkában. Ez magában egy csoda!
